Alongside three showcase performances at The Great Escape in Brighton, Mia Wray has dropped the video for her new single, ‘Monster Brain’. The track is designed to pay tribute to people who provide support in our darkest hour: “It’s an homage to the people who've helped us get through the hard times, when you can't see clearly and you're in a deep depression. Whether that is your partner, family, friend or someone down the phone line, reassuring you that it's ok.” Musically, it’s an effortlessly soulful track that blends the warm textures of deep piano chords with Wray’s voice and the collective voices of a choir once used by Chance The Rapper.
